Timing a PowerPoint Presentation

"I want a PowerPoint timer that times my presentation and shows on every slide" It's one of the most common "How do I do this .." questions we are asked.

You can use Add Ins or vba but this isn't suitable for all applications (see "Do I want to use vba?")

Most other methods will only play on the current slide (If this is what you need see Gifs and Countdown timer maker) For a non vba counter that will work throughout the presentation a small video is an unlikely but useful solution. Normally video = large file size but we have developed a unique video profile that keeps file size right down and still plays in 99% of PowerPoint set ups.

Download sample timers here Note the tiny filesize! Sample has a two minute countdown and a 10 minute growing bar.

Resize to match your slide or needs and in custom animation set the stop playing to after 999 slides. The play animation should be with previous and the first in the list.

If you would like a custom video (your custom style and duration) email us for a very reasonable quote.

NOTE video timing depends on your hardware - Timers may not be completely accurate but it will be close!
